The Strictly Come Dancing Live UK Tour is pleased to announce that four further celebrities have been added to the 2012 touring line-up. Joining the list of stars who will be out to wow arena audiences across the UK and Ireland are McFly heartthrob Harry Judd, ex-EastEnders legend and national treasure Anita Dobson, former footballer Robbie Savage and ex-Olympic swimmer Mark Foster.
The four celebrities will join Nancy Dell’Olio, Chelsee Healey and Jason Donovan on the tour, along with host Kate Thornton who will be returning to the live show.
The seven celebrities and their professional dance partners will be performing in front of the judging panel which this year features Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood, who is also directing the arena tour for the second year running.

Anita Dobson added: “I joined Strictly to learn to dance and it is magical that I am. I feel so lucky to be part of the TV show and now to go on the tour and continue dancing with my partner is just a dream come true. I hope the audiences will enjoy the touring show, as much as I will enjoy dancing at every performance.”
Chelsee Healey said: “I am so thrilled to be part of the Strictly Tour, the TV show has been more fun than I ever could have imagined and I can’t wait to carry on dancing every week.”
Harry Judd said: “I’m really looking forward to the tour, although I imagine it will be very different to touring with McFly! I can’t wait to test my new found dancing skills and as I’m quite competitive, I intend to win every night!”
Jason Donovan added: ”I have been overwhelmed with the support I have had so far on the show and I have really enjoyed dancing every week. Learning so many different dances has been an amazing experience and I can’t wait to see the new routines we’ll be performing on the tour.”
Mark Foster said: “My love of dancing has continued over the past couple of years and it will be great to put my dancing shoes back on and be part of Strictly again.”
Nancy Dell’Olio said: “I am really excited to be part of the tour. I enjoyed every moment of my time on the show and it is great I now get to continue with my new found passion.”
Robbie Savage said: “I’m enjoying each week more and more and I’m really glad to be continuing the experience on tour. I can’t wait to be out on the floor every night, hopefully there won’t be any cameras to crash into this time!”
So pleased that Harry, Anita and Robbie are on the tour now and I’m also pleased to see that Mark Foster is coming on tour. Already looking forward to it!
so does that mean that Ola will be dancing too? Loving Robbie and Ola! And how could you have Ola without James?
Unfortunately not, both Ola and her husband James will not be taking part in the new tour.
Does anyone know why?
I am glad that James isn’t doing the tour. After behaving like a spoilt brat on Twitter and moaning he hadn’t been asked. Not very professional. I stopped following him after that. Wind your neck in Jordan! Bring back Matthew Cutler! x
who will Robbie be dancing with if Ola is not doing the tour ? does anyone know
Is it definate that James and Ola will not be performing on the tour this time? That will be very disapointing! I hope that Flavia and Vincent will be attending this time, I missed them last year!
Vincent and Flavia are doing Midnight Tango in London so they won’t be doing the tour. Go and see it is wicked.
I am so happy that Anita Dobson will be part of the 2012 Strictly tour it will give more people chance to experience a live show and feel part of it. Am so looking forward to it.Anita and Robin make a fantastic team and are a total joy to watch,so bring on the tour, cant’t wait!.
Does this announcement mean that Russell won’t be appearing – I thought he said he would be taking his teddy bear on tour. Maybe he has lots of better offers. Disappointed that the celebrities partners won’t necessarily be the same too. 2012 was going to be the first time I saw the tour but having second thoughts now.
Dont have second thoughts, it i still a fab live show. I went last year and it was amazing. There is till time for Russell to confirm there were some late confirmations last year!
Thank you, I think I will go. I’ve seen a bit of footage from previous shows and it does look wonderful as you say. (Always regretted not going when Matthew Cutler was in it, he was my favourite ever)
Go! I’ve been every year and it’s a really good night out. You’ll love it.
Don’t be disappointed about new pairings – I was not sure about this but went last year and loved the live show. Have already booked for this year (before dancers were announced but am so please Pasha will be there)! Many of the pros have their own shows now: Brendon, Vincent and Flavia, Erin and Anton – so I guess this is why they won’t be there? Will miss Mr & Mrs Jordan though!
Russell isnt going on the tour – he tweeted he was having his long overdue knee operation in January and Vincent & Flavia are doing their own show – midnight tango so they wont be on the tour either.
Last year because of Anne Widdecombe I started watching SCD, and really got hooked, and even went to see the show on tour, taking two friends. However, including the Nasty Nancy is a big put off so instead we have booked to go to Anton and Erin’s show. Who would believe nancy could be invited after all her nasty comments?
Flavia and Vincent won’t be doing the tour as they doing the Midnight Tango in London. Go and see it, absolutely wicked, saw it last summer in Bristol. Fab-u-lous. I am bit disappointed Anita is doing it as she is not my favourite. It is always a good evening though. Love Chelsee and Pash.
Ihave just heard that my daughter has bought me tickets to strictly for my xmas pressie…. so excited cant wait…..
Also going to see vincent and flavia in their show in june…

Does anyone know if Robin will be doing the tour yet? Regardless though, will be there for the entertainment.

Any tips for a newby to get tickets for shows in the south/west and what price are they generally? Thanks
Is this the final line up – only 7???? Previous years have had 9. Think one year had eight but surely 7 can’t be it? Have bought tickets and am now wondering if I am going to get the same value for money as all other concert-goers have had!!!
yeh Robin is doing the tour, he said on facebook he was looking forward to it……i can’t wait
Cannot wait to see Robbie, what a star he has been!!
Why have we not got Holly valance.
(((
Why drop Ola and James?
Just got tickets for our first Strictly tour. Didn’t see the line up till after. Rather pleased Lulu isn’t in it, bet Brendan is too. It would be nice to see “Rent-a-Pro” performing.
I have bought tickets for my mum for Christmas as a surprise, she will so happy. She is addicted to the show (even though she has two left feet herself he he). Hope she chooses me to take with her….although after the comment about her dancing
(

Does anyone know why Tess said at the SCD Final that it was Harry’s last ‘ever ever’ dance with Aliona? I thought she was partnering him on the SCD Live Tour 2012?
Does anyone know if PASHA is on the tour? Got tickets for xmas, , hope he is on tour
Never been to the tour before so really excited, going on my birthday too =) I really wantedHolly Valance to be in the line up though! She was my favourite but I’m glad Harry, Chelsea, and Jason are in it
Just got back from Birmingham and have had the best afternoon ever! The show was FAB-U-LOUS! 2 1/2 hours long, really entertaining. I’ve watched the show since series one and still love it. It was like being in a dream – couldn’t quite believe everyone was real! It was plenty of entertainment for one afternoon. If there are still tickets left, book them quickly! I’m sure no-one will leave disappointed.
Thanks for the report – I am looking forward to Sheffield next week.
Booked for Feb in Cardiff cant wait, disappointed if Russell isnt on the show
Just home from shopping for special party dress for my grand-daughter Emma who got ticket from Santa. She is 5 years and so excited about going to the show in Glasgow all dressed up for the occasion. We (her mummy Penny and I are going too) are making a day of it, so glad to see from other comments that the show is so good. Only 13 sleeps to go, not that I am counting!
